Ascension Executive Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Project Manager to join their development team. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Responsibilities Working as part of a construction development team in the delivery of multiple projects. Acting in a client representative/development manager capacity on larger projects where an existing team including a project manager are in place. Project managing small to medium projects with established design consultants Tracking and managing design team performance, actions, programmes, minutes. Acting as an interface between the design teams and operations teams and stakeholders. Working with and supporting a commercial manager on all commercial, cost and legal aspects of the development programme. Delivering projects in line with the requirements of our PMO including ongoing development and refinement systems, procedures and controls. Chairing start-up & production meetings on minor works contracts. Manage information flows, correspondence, schedules and identifying risks and non-compliance at an early stage. Preparing reports and associated documentation for board, and internal reporting purposes. Addressing day to day management tasks as required. Essential Criteria Must have a relevant third level qualification, preferably in electrical or construction engineering. Must have at least 5 years' prior professional experience working in construction and development. Must have relevant project management experience in a construction environment. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of different stakeholders.
