Charlene Cooke has an opportunity for a Behavioural Specialist to join an Irish owned, progressive, person-centred organisation.
The Role
This role is a full-time post involving travel across homes across the north west region including Leitrim, Cavan, Sligo & Roscommon.
As Behavioural Specialist, you will have a key role in the delivery of effective, high quality, team based, and clinical support to the people we care for.
Within the Residential team, you will provide these supports for young people who have experienced complex trauma.
You will work with Persons in Charge, and other multi-disciplinary team members, to enable people we support to achieve their full potential and build a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive functional behavioural assessments
* Design and implement evidence-based behavioural interventions
* Train and mentor staff to ensure effective intervention delivery
* Continuously evaluate and modify interventions using data-driven decision-making
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for professionals with a strong background in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to improving the lives of young people.
Requirements
* MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behaviour Support
* Minimum 1 year experience in a behavioural support role, conducting assessments and developing interventions
* Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), Irish Society of Behaviour Analysis (ISBA), or full Division of Behaviour Analysis membership with the Psychological Society of Ireland
* Experience supporting children or adults in residential care, disability services, or mental health settings
* Full clean driving licence (eligibility to drive in Ireland) and access to a car
* Valid Garda Vetting and Overseas Clearance (if applicable)
