About the Role We are looking for an Instructional Course Designer to develop high-quality, engaging learning content that helps our internal teams, customers, and partners understand and maximise the value of our product offerings.
The Instructional Course Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining online learning courses and training materials to support product onboarding, feature adoption, and ongoing education for both internal and external audiences.
Working closely with the Enablement Team under the guidance of the Document Manager you will keep close relationships with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales teams, to ensure that our learning resources are clear, effective, and continuously updated to reflect new product features and enhancements.
This is a hybrid role.
#LI-Hybrid Key Responsibilities Course Development:
Design and develop engaging, interactive online courses covering our product suite, ensuring users can onboard quickly and effectively.
Content Creation:
Produce high-quality learning materials for synchronous and asynchronous delivery, including video tutorials, interactive e-learning modules, software simulations, guides, assessments, and certifications.
Learning Management System (LMS)
Management:
Oversee course structure, user enrollment, and performance tracking within our LMS platform, ensuring a seamless learner experience.
Training Strategy:
Develop and refine a structured training curriculum that supports internal teams, customers, and partners in adopting new features and best practices.
Continuous Updates:
Keep all learning materials up to date with product changes, new releases, and evolving customer needs.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to align training content with business objectives, product roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies.
User Engagement & Feedback:
Monitor course effectiveness, analyze user engagement metrics, and implement improvements based on learner feedback and performance data.
Scalability & Self-Service Enablement:
Develop self-service learning experiences that scale efficiently, reducing the need for one-to-one training sessions.
Best Practices & Innovation:
Leverage instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
to create effective training content and stay up to date with e-learning trends and instructional design best practices to continuously improve Xtremepush's learning programs.
Your Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or training content creation.
Instructional Design Expertise:
Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and e-learning development best practices.
Content Development:
Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering online learning content, ideally in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
LMS & e-Learning Tools: Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), and multimedia production tools Strong writing, communication, and organisational skills Experience in SaaS or CRM training is preferred but not required.
Location This is a hybrid role based in Ireland (Dublin) or UK (London / Milton Keynes).
