JOB DESCRIPTION
Working with the brand principles, the Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for growing the Spirits & Mixers Portfolio, including brands such as Jägermeister, Fever-Tree, Sierra, Finest Call, Master of Mixes, Re'al. They will be responsible for building the brand strategy for the Irish & Northern Irish markets, building brand equity, and delivering volume targets within brand budgets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage relationships and liaise with global brand principles, implementing the global brand strategy in a locally relevant way for the Irish & Northern Irish markets. Be the brand guardian for the Spirits & Mixers portfolio, ensuring all designs, principles, and activations are a true brand fit and targeting the right audiences.
* Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate brand and trade activation and visibility activities, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Commercial teams. Influence and educate the Sales team on an ongoing basis and develop compelling sales decks with insights and USPs.
* Manage the brand budget and ensure the delivery of all activities within the agreed budget, while achieving volume targets.
* Track all aspects of the brand’s performance (distribution, rate-of-sale, sales vs. budget, spend vs. budget, SKU performance & opportunities). Be responsible for monthly & quarterly reports on performance, brand launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
* Ensure all strategies and plans are aligned with brand plans and are driving consumer & trade engagement in a relevant and meaningful way.
* Manage PR, event management, and media agencies through clear briefings, feedback, reviews, and updates. Track performance and results for all projects and campaigns, using insights to inform future planning.
* Coach, guide, and support direct reports: 1 x Assistant Brand Manager, 2 x Brand Ambassadors, ensuring all strategies and plans are aligned with brand objectives.
* Identify future growth opportunities and key trends in the Spirits and Mixers category. Support strategic projects to ensure future success for the portfolio.
* Perform any other duties appropriate for the role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Understanding of the FMCG and/or Alcohol Industry is desirable.
* 3-5 years of experience in brand management, consumer marketing, trade marketing, or related fields.
* Commercially astute with sound budget management experience.
* Analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
* A passion for building brands.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Management experience is desirable.
