As a Customer Service Engineer with Siemens Healthineers, you will be based in the Dublin region and responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medical diagnostic equipment. You will work closely with customers to address their support issues promptly and professionally.
Your Role:
• Collaborate with the Customer Care Centre to perform service, maintenance, updates, and installations of Siemens Healthineers products within your designated product range.
• Provide out-of-hours technical support when necessary and complete mandatory weekend working provision.
• Attend product training courses (in Ireland and abroad) and work towards completion of the Siemens Professional Certificate to enhance your technical assistance and support skills.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of team processes.
• Maintain good communication and teamwork with all Managers and Colleagues.
• Escalate situations where customer satisfaction is compromised or contractual obligations are unlikely to be met.
• Adhere to Siemens work instructions, quality policy, and codes of conduct policies and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Process material parts in accordance with policy.
• Complete personal administration in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain all test equipment, tools, and company property in good working order.
Your Expertise:
• Hold a 3rd-level qualification in Electronics or Electrical discipline (NFQ level 7). Applicants with an NFQ Level 6 qualification and relevant experience will also be considered.
• Have previous field service experience with fault finding on electronic equipment.
• Possess strong IT, Microsoft Office, and Networking Infrastructure skills.
• Demonstrate excellent customer-facing skills to interface with customers and staff at all levels within Siemens/Third parties, contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
• Hold a full driving license valid for driving in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Additional Information:
A flexible approach to travel, providing out-of-hours technical support, and working planned weekend and evening work is required. Attendance of training courses and technical seminars in Ireland and abroad will also be necessary. You can expect to spend approximately 4 hours traveling each day.
Salary: €45,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
