We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Vascular Physiologist to join our client's dynamic team in Galway. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-quality, patient-centred vascular imaging service in a supportive and progressive environment.
As a Vascular Physiologist, you will:
* Deliver efficient, high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services for vascular conditions
* Perform and interpret vascular ultrasound scans, working at senior grade level
* Take part in the day-to-day management of the department and oversee designated service areas
* Conduct vascular diagnostic tests and ensure accurate recording and analysis of data
* Prioritise and assess referrals in line with clinical urgency and available resources
* Communicate results clearly and promptly to referring clinicians, highlighting any urgent findings
* Maintain adherence to established protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout
* Support ongoing training and teaching within the service
* Contribute to research and development initiatives in collaboration with clinical and academic staff
* Perform other relevant duties as required
Requirements:
* BSc in Clinical Measurement Science, Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement, or equivalent
* Commitment to continued professional development in line with relevant professional body (e.g., IICMS)
* Ideally a member of the Society for Vascular Technology in Ireland
* Preferably one year’s experience in a Vascular Laboratory setting
* Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and work effectively under pressure
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to providing a high standard of patient care
* Professional, flexible, and collaborative approach to team-based healthcare delivery

Hours: 35 hours per week
