Site Quality Manager – Data Centre - Dublin – 12-month contract
This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised as one of the fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.
Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and requires the expertise of a Site Quality Manager. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor their development to their clients' requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Mentoring of team members within the area of quality and commissioning process.
2. Implement quality and commissioning procedures in line with clients' standards.
3. Contribute to innovation in the execution of design, installation, start-up, and commissioning to improve efficiency while maintaining best in class safety.
4. Create snagging/punch lists and foresee potential quality issues at early stages.
5. Internal and external stakeholder communication.
6. Managing various contractors.
7. Coordinate the development and implementation of commissioning plans, schedules, and protocols.
8. Coordinate with design and construction teams to integrate commissioning requirements into project workflows.
9. Oversee testing, verification, and validation of critical systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, and IT infrastructure).
10. Oversee the compilation of documentation for testing and inspections related to quality and commissioning.
Requirements:
1. Degree qualification in either Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2. Previous experience in mission-critical facilities is desirable – particularly Power Generation, Substations, Data Centres, or Oil & Gas.
