Customer Service & Office Administrator
Purpose:
To assist customers with queries related to the Wexford Bus services, working as a key member of the Control Room Team in the delivery of punctual and reliable public transport services.
Job Description:
Wexford Bus operates a growing network of public buses on a 24/7 basis. We also provide a growing number of contracted and public and private coach and bus services. Using the latest technology, our Control Room Team manages our operation from our Support Centre at Drinagh in Wexford.
This is an opportunity for an experienced administrator and customer service agent to join a busy team. Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills are a prerequisite for the successful candidates along with the skill set as outlined below:
The successful candidate must possess a good standard of education, excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess the necessary IT skills to allow them to perform the range of duties as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Supported by our Training and Development Team you will receive ongoing access and support to education to ensure that you grow with our company. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to acquire experience in the public transport sector which will experience massive growth as part of our country’s reaction to climate change.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills are a prerequisite for the successful candidates along with the skill set as outlined below:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focused approach. The ability to communicate clearly and precisely when writing reports and emails, when working with colleagues and on phone communications;
* Strong administration skills, and a high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
* To be comfortable with new technology and able to work quickly and accurately on computerised systems
* A flexible, positive attitude towards work. Must be available for weekend work and prepared to work flexible hours;
* Excellent attention to detail;
* An ability to work effectively as part of a team;
* An ability to prioritise own workload and multitask;
* To be a good decision maker, confident and quick to learn
* Must hold a full driving licence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Being professional and friendly with customers and colleagues
* Assisting customers in a helpful, courteous and timely manner and efficiently dealing with both their verbal and written queries
* The execution of general office administrative duties
* Utilising Microsoft and other applications for documentation and customer interaction management.
* Navigating social media platforms to engage with customers and resolve issues.
* Identifying and escalating priority issues to appropriate channels.
* Compiling monthly reports.
