We are currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at our nursing home in County Wexford. This permanent, full-time position involves providing exceptional care and support to individuals living with dementia.
Main Responsibilities
* Care Activities:
o Participate in designing and implementing engaging activities and events for residents.
o Supervise and train care assistants and appraise staff as needed.
* Team Collaboration:
o Liaise with unit managers and other professionals to ensure seamless resident transitions and a welcoming environment.
o Support nursing staff with daily task allocation and work organisation.
Requirements
* QQI Level 5 Award in Healthcare or equivalent qualification.
* A proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
* Elder care experience (minimum 2 years).
* Ability to motivate, supervise, and inspire colleagues.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent personal care abilities.
