Due to continued growth, Fastway is seeking a positive individual to join our team in Letterkenny as a Sales Executive and Account Manager for our North West Region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Franchise Development and Key Account Management
2. Interface with Courier Franchisees (CF) to create and maintain a lead generation pipeline to support their Business Plan.
3. Cold call to agreed customers within defined CF territories.
4. Set up and train new customers on the Fastway system and complete all paperwork required.
5. Ensure all new customers receive a weekly visit or phone call from the Account Manager or Sales Support for the initial 6 weeks following setup, with time and content of this communication formally captured.
6. Regular follow-up with selected key accounts to ensure satisfaction with the Fastway service.
7. Liaise with the Depot Operational teams to clearly communicate agreed client schedules for delivery and collections.
8. Work closely with the Customer Service team to proactively manage any issues that clients may be experiencing.
9. Record daily journey plans.
10. Report on any lost or potentially lost customers in a timely manner, explaining in detail the reasons and actions taken.
11. Provide clear and accurate instructions to allow the Sales Support Executive to communicate effectively with the Regional Depots.
12. Plan for any potential challenges that may arise during the peak season.
13. Review weekly performance with the Line Manager either in person or by phone as agreed.
14. Support the Parcel Connect Champion as required.
Skills & Experience:
1. Proven track record in sales
2. Excellent organization and communication skills.
3. An ability to excel in a highly matrixed environment.
4. Highly disciplined and willing to follow the Fastway System.
5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
