Job Description
Are you a skilled Facilities Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a Schools Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team in Co. Offaly. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to manage day-to-day operational issues, lead an on-site hard and soft services team, and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
What You'll Do
1. Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth delivery of services and compliance with contractual obligations.
2. Leading and managing a diverse team to ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules are met, and lifecycle replacement programmes are successfully delivered.
3. Coordinating minor works, managing small works estimating and delivery programmes, and ensuring the scoping of works aligns with expectations.
4. Managing team payroll, timekeeping, and material ordering processes.
5. Leading on continuous improvement strategies to support cost reduction and performance enhancement.
6. Delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting all specified requirements.
What You'll Bring
1. Proven experience in managing teams and delivering high-quality FM services in both hard and soft facilities management.
2. Strong contract and commercial management experience, particularly in a client-facing role.
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships and resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
4. Sound financial acumen, ensuring budgets are adhered to and lifecycle expenditure is tracked appropriately.
5. Strong IT skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
6. A commitment to maintaining the highest health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
