Financial Accountant - Maynooth
HireForce has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Recently Qualified Accountant to join the finance function of a leading Irish organisation. The main responsibility of the role is the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts & KPI’s, and has a business partnering role in financial planning and forecasting for assigned business areas. Responsibilities include the following:
* Build strong working relationships within assigned business areas of responsibility and create a business partnership, providing active support, financial modelling, financial analysis and reporting to drive the delivery of strong business performance.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and performance pack for the division that meets the business needs and are in line with adopted accounting policies.
* Create and present regular analysis in a clear, concise manner which includes robust variance analysis and key metric reports that demonstrates an understanding of key drivers and informs effective operational and strategic decision making.
* Develop regular reporting and analysis for business areas, including robust variance analysis and key metric reports that support strategic and operational decision making.
* Prepare monthly general ledger and accounts reconciliations and process monthly journals for assigned business areas.
* Support the development of more streamlined consolidated financial planning reporting templates.
* Management of the financial system, and review, improvement & integration of reporting from financial and operational systems.
Preferred Background:
* Qualified Accountant Big4/Top6 trained (0-2 PQE)
* Proven track record of strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
