Warehouse Technician - Pharmaceuticals - County Sligo - 12-Month Contract
Located on the picturesque west coast of Ireland, our Global pharmaceutical client is looking for Warehouse Technician to join their state of the art pharmaceutical facility.
Located in the historic province of Connacht neighbouring the pond that is the Atlantic Ocean, breeds a mix of Irish culture and modernisation in the popular seaside town rife with bars, restaurants and water sports.
Responsibilities :
1. Good Organizational skills
2. Ability to make decisions and work on own initiative
3. Flexible and adaptable to change
4. Computer literate
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area
6. Assist AbbVie in achieving environmental, health, and safety goals by working safely and observing all general plant and department safety policies.
7. Ensure accurate Receipt of Materials in a timely manner
8. Ensures that all materials are accurately located and controlled both physically and on SAP.
9. Issuance of material to manufacturing and Packaging
10. Shipping of product and non-inventory items in accordance with SOPs
11. Complete area verification in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs. (ie returns/staging/fixed bins etc)
12. Perform all assigned duties according to departmental SOP's and cGMP's.
13. Complete and remain current with all required cGMP and safety training.
Qualifications :
14. Leaving Certificate or equivalent
15. 3 years + industry experience within a warehouse environment, pharma/regulated environment preferred.
16. High sense of safety standards within a regulated GMP environment.
17. Experienced computer skills, Outlook, Microsoft Excel. Word & Powerpoint.
18. Relationship Building: establishing excellent working relationships with all functions within the business
19. Communication: excellent communication and presentations skills, both written and oral. Articulate the quality requirements in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
20. Planning & Organizing: excellent analytical skills. Ability to plan and schedule.
21. Decision Making: identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities whilst providing a viable solution.
