Job Description
We are seeking a Security Architect in the Cyber Security area for our client in the banking sector. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with digital service end-point definition within Web Access Firewall, load balancers and other relevant technologies.

The Role:
* Expert in layered, secure network design and configuration
* Deep knowledge of service-driven end-point design and template-based standardisation, e.g. DNS naming, logical service naming and design
* Design of secure, scalable cloud inter-connectivity between bank on-premise API integration layer and cloud based applications (e.g. Fintechs)
* Hands-on experience of digital service end-point definition within Web Access Firewall, load balancers, and network proxies, in particular, NGINX, CISCO and Citrix Netscalar Products
* Knowledge of virtualised and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure design
* Developing and maintaining security architecture and design standards, policies and processes, models and templates to support the overall security strategy and associated frameworks
* Collaborating with IT Strategy & Architecture and other domain architects as well as infrastructure, application, security and operational teams
* Providing expertise, direction and oversight to operations teams when defining security controls to meet existing and future needs
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders to identify cyber and information security requirements
* Define, agree and communicate ongoing security architecture management activities associated with relevant programmes
Requirements:
* 5-7+ years working within Information Security in a regulated industry
* Excellent knowledge of Irish and European regulatory landscape for financial services
* Fundamental understanding and practical experience across broad security domains
* Strong influencing capabilities
* Ability to build positive relationships internally and externally
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within an organization
Desired Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity or relevant/equivalent industry certifications
* Certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer, OSCP, SANS
