We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics/Operations Administrator to join our team in Navan, Meath.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule daily operations for drivers, ensuring efficient route planning.
Conduct pre- and post-route briefings with drivers to address operational updates and gather feedback.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Collaborate with drivers, logistics, customer service, and management to address and resolve operational challenges.
Manage and verify documentation such as dockets, job dates, and weights, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Oversee route confirmations, log docket numbers, and ensure scheduled routes are completed.
File operational documents systematically for easy access and reference.
Provide cover for weighbridge operations and other administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations to protect employees and visitors.
Participate in team and individual performance reviews to contribute to overall business objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within waste management or logistics.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency with office software and database management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
A flexible and adaptable approach to working in various departments as needed.
Eligibility to work in Ireland is mandatory.
Previous experience in the waste industry is highly desirable.
