Experience in patch management, software deployment and installation image management through SCCM, InTune, Auto Patch is essential. Experience managing Entra ID and Azure extremely desirable.Key Responsibilities / OutcomesCarrying out security remediations and best practice recommendations.Active Directory/Azure Active Directory maintenance and monitoringPerforming system and application patchingDeploying new/maintaining existing IT infrastructure, VMware & Hyper-V experience a distinct advantageDesigning new and documenting existing IT Infrastructure architectureDeploy updates/new installations via InTuneDevice Management using IntuneDevelop server and laptop images, hardened against security standardsManage Autopilot deployment systemEnsuring that BCP/DR plans incorporate restoration of Windows Infrastructure and that plans are fully testedDevelopment of automation to carry out operational tasks using PowerShell scriptsDay to day responsibilities include:Ensuring our windows estate is fully patched, trouble shooting and address failures and gaps in patching.Building deployment packages for release on SCCM/InTunePatch dependency checking and submission of change requestsPerforming system changes to support vulnerability mitigationManagement of GPOs and Intune policies in accordance with policies and standardsDomain Controller ManagementKey Skills, Experiences & CompetenciesExpertise in building and maintaining Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory systemsExtensive experience with patch deployment and endpoint compliance using SCCM and InTuneDemonstrates skills in communication, collaboration, relationship building in a global organisationEnthusiastic and highly adaptable with a willingness to learn and attain new skillsPossesses strong analytical and diagnostic skillsExperience with Qualys a distinct advantageGxP exposure desirable, but not essentialPowerShell ScriptingQualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar roleDegree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or relatedRelevant Microsoft certifications an advantage.
