Contract Manager
This role is essential for the planning and overseeing of multiple site installations, ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion. Responsibilities include designating project resources, maintaining budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping key stakeholders informed throughout the project.
Key Areas of Roles & Responsibility
* The Site Contracts Manager will ensure the planning and overseeing of multiple site installations.
* Determine and define project scope and objectives.
* Day-to-day management & coordination with the General Contractor & specialist Subcontracted vendors.
* Ensure coordination with internal departments.
* Organize site teams and manage, support, and monitor progress through completion of works.
* Plan, manage, and monitor progress against our & clients' expected standards and procedures.
* Manage finances against budgets and targets.
* Maintain and enhance relationships with staff and customers.
* Promote and participate in innovations and best practices.
* Provide a planned and proactive approach to work.
* Utilize team and support staff in the delivery of multiple projects.
* Assume overall responsibility for the successful delivery of all projects assigned.
* Liaise with other teams on project-related matters.
* Mentor the site team dedicated to the projects.
* Comfortable managing multiple sub-contractors across Elec/Mech disciplines.
* Assist in process improvement and support in procedure developments.
* Understanding of client-driven commissioning platforms.
* Familiarity with client ‘tagging’ platforms and industry-leading commissioning platforms.
* Knowledge of UK/EU legislation surrounding electrical installations & fire alarm systems.
* Review and approve Main contractor and client test documentation.
* Fault finding, problem solving, and explanation of design.
* Communicate issues with design, faulty equipment, and required materials.
* Develop a quality culture of ‘zero tolerance’ within your site team.
* Demonstrate leadership, vision, and commitment to quality and excellence.
* Attend daily site meetings and provide necessary reports/information.
* Provide the best solutions to meet both the business and customers’ requirements.
* Promote a culture of teamwork and best practice.
* Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
* Support with the investigation of accidents and near misses.
About You:
* Create a positive self-motivated atmosphere in a team environment.
* Assist with first line management duties.
* Proficient in setting out and tracking work in coordination with the engineering team.
* Must demonstrate Site Management experience within an Industrial/Commercial, Data Centre, Construction, Power or Energy environment.
* Field-based role with deployment times around 12 - 18 months.
* Facility / Site Working between contract completion and kick-off based at Letterkenny.
* Valid EU Passport Holder.
What's on Offer:
Excellent Salary ranging from €130,000 - €150,000 with an extensive benefits package including regular overtime, a full attendance bonus, permanent contract, pension scheme, life assurance, and more.
Location:
This position will be field-based in the UK/Europe and at Vertiv's site in Letterkenny.
