The role of a Site Engineer is to oversee building projects in Kerry, working closely with the contractor.
Job Description:
The Site Engineer will be responsible for:
* Setting-out the site and dimensional controls according to contract Drawings, Specification, and Site Surveys
* Reviewing construction outputs and planning an efficient sequence of operations, focusing on control, quality, and technical advice
The Engineer will work in accordance with company standard procedures, which include:
* Setting out works based on drawings, specifications, and site surveys
* Raising RFIs and resolving technical issues with representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, and statutory authorities
* Liaising with the purchasing department to ensure purchase orders meet specified requirements
* Inputting into Inspection and Test Plans and ensuring supply chain provides test data to support contract technical requirements
* Setting up a drawing register and ensuring sub-contractors use the latest version of contract record drawings & specifications, while maintaining technical coordination
Qualifications and Skills:
Candidate must have an engineering-related qualification and possess the following skills:
* Articulate and numerate, capable of delivering reports verbally and written in an objective and persuasive manner
* Demonstrate initiative and resilience
* Display good interpersonal and communication skills and act independently and professionally
