Job Description
SG Group is now organized into Business units and Service Units. Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) is a Business Unit established in 27 locations worldwide with 4,000 employees.
SGSS provides a full range of securities services adapted to the latest financial markets and regulatory trends: clearing services, custody and trustee services, retail custody services, liquidity management, fund administration and asset servicing, fund distribution and global issuer services.
Responsibilities
* Requests For Information formalization to the business teams and follow-up
* Analysis Memos' formalization
* Quality Check and Validation of some KYC files (on investors) – mainly risky & complex files
* Reporting formalization to local MLRO, in order to inform local management, Business Compliance Officer and Financial Crime department in France
* Coordination with Level 1 team in India, and with Financial Crime department in France
* Preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports
* Analysis of the existing and new local laws and regulations (e.g. Criminal Justice Act, Sanctions & Embargoes, etc.) with support of team members or Group experts and formalize the analysis to advise line management of relevant implications
* Reviews of Compliance Procedures
* Participation in the Compliance Risk Assessment (COMPASS) in coordination with the team
* Participation in Monthly Compliance controls (GPS & RCI) for SGSS entities in Ireland (second line of defense) in coordination with the team
* Participation in Compliance reporting to local Senior Management and central departments
* Participation in the Compliance Quality Assurance Testing program
* Staff trainings on compliance subjects
Requirements
* Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Financial/Compliance
* A previous experience in Compliance risks such as AML and KYC would be appreciated
Language Skills
* Fluent in English (B2-C1)
* Knowledge of French language an advantage
Technical, Operational & Soft Skills
* Proficient/Good command of MS Office
* Good communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate within the team environment
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time pressure and with extreme accuracy
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Attention to detail a critical requirement
* Good administrative & organizational skills
* Good initiative required but also ability to recognize when escalation of issues needs to be taken
About the VIE Assignment
This VIE in Ireland is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
