Ashgrove Renewables, Est 2001, is well established in the renewable energy sector. In 2021, we launched a Home Energy Upgrade division and plan for continued expansion in 2025.
This is in line with the government's obligation & plan to upgrade 500,000 Irish homes by 2030, which is driven by generous grants.
In line with our expansion strategy, we have purchased a larger facility which we are upgrading and will comprise of a warehouse and offices. The offices will be state of the art, including a showroom, training facilities, customer meeting rooms, and virtual meeting pods to cater for the ever-growing requirement for online consultations and presentations.
We are now inviting highly motivated applicants for the position of Grant Documentation Administrator to join our busy QA & Documentation department.
Ashgrove Renewables is processing a large number of grants on a weekly basis. This Grant Documentation Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the grant management process by ensuring the preparation and collection of accurate and organized documentation of all aspects of grant applications.
This position involves working closely with the grant management team to maintain records, upload grant applications, and ensure compliance with grant guidelines. There will be a special focus on Solar PV grants within this role.
Main Responsibilities
1. Document Management: Maintain and organise documentation related to grant applications, approvals, financial reports, and other relevant materials.
2. Preparation of Grant Documentation: Ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
3. Compliance Tracking: Monitor grant deadlines and ensure all documentation is submitted in a timely manner.
4. Data Entry and Database Management: Input and maintain data in the grant management software or database, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
5. Communication Support: Liaise with homeowners, BER Assessors, builders, and other professionals on documentation requirements.
6. Document Formatting: Assist with the preparation of grant documents, creating templates, and ensuring consistency in presentation.
7. Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing for internal or external audits by ensuring proper documentation is available and organized.
8. Administrative Support: Support the grant team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and conducting basic research on potential grant opportunities.
Requirements
Experience:
* Minimum 2 years experience in administrative support and document coordination role.
* Previous experience in grant administration is advantageous, as is experience working with government departments, or within the renewable energy sector.
Skills:
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM database management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
