Our client is looking for a Inside Sales Support to join their team in Cork City. This hybrid role will involve working closely with an existing internal team and providing vital support to an external sales team.
The successful candidate will liaise with clients from industrial and pharmaceutical sectors, offering expert guidance and consultation on highly technical products. The role requires a strong mechanical understanding of the products and the ability to communicate technical details clearly to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the internal team and support the external sales team in managing client accounts.
* Engage directly with clients in industrial and pharmaceutical sectors, understanding their technical needs and offering tailored solutions.
* Confidently explain the technical features and benefits of products to clients, offering expert advice and product recommendations.
* Consult with clients to ensure the best product application and meet their specific requirements.
* Provide detailed and accurate responses to client inquiries, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, technical specifications, and follow-up actions.
* Assist in product demonstrations and technical discussions with clients, supporting the sales team.
* Stay updated on industry trends and product developments to ensure knowledge is current.
* Ensure precision and attention to detail in all aspects of the role, from technical documentation to client communications.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Strong mechanical understanding and technical knowledge of products, ideally in the industrial or pharmaceutical sectors.
* Previous experience in a technical support or consultancy role is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients.
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, focusing on delivering high-quality service.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Proficiency with CRM and other relevant software tools.
