Fidelity Investments Enterprise Infrastructure & Operations – Technology Intern
Location: Galway
Placement Dates: January 27th or March 24th until August 22nd 2025

Our Enterprise Infrastructure & Operations team plays a critical role in the company’s success. During your internship you will get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams, and continue to learn in a fun, iterative, and rapidly changing environment. Working closely with the Major Incident Management, Operations & Data Analytics teams you will help build and automate using modern software development practices. You will engage in operations support to design and implement solutions for Service Management.
The Expertise We’re Looking For:
* You can work well with others in a team environment, displaying time management skills.
* When it comes to solving problems, you use clear and sound reasoning. You’re rational and like to use numbers and data to come up with sensible solutions.
* You have a solid interest in software engineering and supporting complex technical systems end to end.
* You are passionate about learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
* You are analytical, have superb communication and organizational skills, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time.
The Skills You Bring:
* Technical Aptitude: Demonstrates ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools and demonstrate this knowledge in day-to-day work. Attention to detail and follow-through on all tasks. Basic knowledge of Windows OS and or networking is an advantage. A passion for problem solving and troubleshooting.
* Initiative & Proactivity: Good ability to information-gather & learn. Takes action to complete tasks and projects and to overcome obstacles. Comfortable with a fluid work environment and being able to manage several projects simultaneously.
* Personal Effectiveness: Has good interpersonal awareness and understands how to respond to people. Keeps team informed and up to date.
