This position is ideal for those looking to advance their careers in a thriving environment.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Process company payroll every pay period.
2. Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating and inputting data.
3. Complete payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
4. Adhere to payroll policies and procedures.
5. Receive and coordinate requests for leave and other absences.
6. Deal with staff queries about pay dates, absences, timesheets, & enquiries regarding pay amounts and escalating them as appropriate.
About You:
1. Experience in working in a busy payroll department is essential.
2. Ability to organise and prioritise tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
3. Demonstrate a proactive and optimistic attitude, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within a team.
4. Experience in working with payroll packages like Sage.
5. Great knowledge of Excel and proficiency in all Microsoft packages.
6. Degree or similar qualification beneficial.
7. Relevant experience gained in a similar industry and role.
