This is a position for Supplier Transfer Project Manager for a MedTech major, to optimize network transformation goals, to meet year-on-year cost improvement targets for the business.
The candidate will need to have effective communication skills and be a team player to work with globally located client cross-functional teams and TCS teams to execute and deliver as per project requirements.
Key responsibilities:Lead Product Transfers to Suppliers (Medical devices), develop supplier project plans including timeline, resources, milestones, action items, risk mitigation, and final project outcomesLead core team members to execute project outcomes to timeline.
Communicate project status to key stakeholders.Support Test Equipment Validation and Gauge R&RSupport Cost Gap Modelling to Leverage Stronger Negotiations for Optimal PriceLead Process Development and Improvement at SuppliersExecute Quality System requirements for Supplier Activities including: MPIs, Change Orders, PFMEA, engineering studies, verification/validation protocols and reportsSupport Quality Event ResolutionSupport Supplier Process Verification/ValidationSupport Raw Material/Part Drawing Reviews and ChangesEnsure supplier process parameters are capable for qualification, verification, and validation activities.Your Profile Key skills/knowledge/experience:Experience and a proven track record of developing and managing supplier transfer project plans including timeline, resources, milestones, action items, risk mitigation, and final project outcomeExperience in Equipment Qualification and Test Equipment Validation, and gauge R&R.Understanding of Quality System requirements for Supplier Activities (MPIs, Change orders, PFMEA, verification/validation protocols reports and ISO standards)In-depth knowledge of supplier quality event resolution.Experience in Product/Process Transfer, Defining Business Requirements, System Integration/Enhancement, Product and Process verification and Validation.Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and decision-making skillsProject management skillsHands on Experience on PLM process.Proficient with MS Office applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.Good to have:Project Management certification from PMI or a similar organization.Prior experience in Process / Manufacturing Quality is an asset.Prior experience with GD&T, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement.
