Making our customers feel better is what it’s all about. It’s everything from finding out how they feel or a friendly word of advice, and your passion will really come across. You’ll let them know that you’re there for them, when they want to pop in. Together these elements will play a big part in making us No 1 for Customer Care.
Primarily, as a Relief Pharmacist your customer care will be inspiring, and always reassuring. It’s more than providing medicine, it’s looking after our customers in their time of need. You'll help make sure that our doors are always open, ready to help.
Secondly, you’ll give brilliant advice and expert knowledge will put our customers at ease. Getting to know your customers is important to us - a friendly chat can really go far. You'll be on hand to recommend some of our many health services that they might not know we have – it's about offering fantastic support.
Finally, you'll inspire a team with your really personable customer service. Guiding a team you're contagiously approachable attitude will really help make us a fantastic place to work, and to shop. During busy times, you'll be a real calming influence ready to step up to the challenge of guiding Pharmacy teams in different stores.
What you’ll be doing day to day.
* Use your expert knowledge to really benefit our customers. It could be a friendly word of advice, small tip or even just a comforting chat to put them at ease. You’ll keep our customers coming back.
* Consider ‘what else can I do?’ think about the customer and how they could be feeling. By noticing anxiety, you could make them feel better. Teaching your team to pick up on the finer details will make a real reassuring difference, and set Boots apart from other Pharmacies.
* Inspire your Pharmacy team with your amazing customer care and attention to detail. Motivating and guiding them towards even better service. Stepping in when their current Pharmacist isn't available.
* Continuously challenge your approach to great customer care and how you can improve your personable style even more.

* Build great relationships with the Pharmacy team and local healthcare professionals, sharing your expert knowledge with them. A small piece of advice or info can go a long way.
What you’ll need to have.
We’re looking for really great people, with a friendly personality. It’s all about working together as one great team – after all it’s our people that are at the heart of our business. It’s a fantastic opportunity to add to your own development, and a chance to learn more about us as a business. It could open up even more opportunities with us. You’ll need to have lots of Pharmacy experience, along with really wonderful customer service skills. We think that’s great, but it isn’t just about experience, we’re interested in seeing a bit more, the real you – and that makes us all feel good.
