Position Summary
Join our dynamic team at Stryker's Instruments Division as a Senior Engineer, Advanced Operations within the ENT business unit! This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in advanced operations and process engineering to drive innovation and efficiency in the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge ENT devices. You'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and optimizing processes that enhance product quality and manufacturability, contributing to the success and growth of our ENT product line.
What You Will Do
1. Actively Shape Development: Develop innovative products in mechanical and electronic areas from initial idea to series launch, ensuring successful production start with efficient processes.
2. Design and Develop Processes: Create and optimize assembly procedures, product specifications, and process validation plans.
3. Coordinate Partners: Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners and external partners to solve technical challenges and implement efficient manufacturing and testing strategies.
4. Implement New Technologies: Investigate, design, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies to improve efficiency and product quality.
5. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues that arise during the development and manufacturing processes.
6. Project Management: Lead and manage projects from conception through to production handover, ensuring timely and successful completion.
7. Contribute to Short Development Times: Make significant contributions to achieving short development times by continuously developing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
8. Collaborate with International Teams: Work closely with interdisciplinary and international project teams and process experts.
What You Will Need
1. Advanced Degree: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
2. Experience: 2+ years of experience in process development engineering, manufacturing/supplier engineering, or a related field.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in process engineering, design for manufacturability, and process validation is essential.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
5. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical challenges.
6. Self-Starter: Proven ability to manage your workload, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Travel Requirements
1. Ability to travel to the US is essential.
2. Approx. 10% travel associated with this role.
