Group HR and Center of Excellence
At our HQ in Middelfart, you will become part of a Group HR team with 23 experienced HR professionals, who are acting as our global Centre of Excellence (CoE). In this role you will have the opportunity to set your mark and together with your team of 6 deliver exceptional services across the entirety of employment law, negotiations, drafting/revising of HR legal documents and the rewards sphere (terms & benefits) as well, across all entities within the USTC Group. In this role you will also act personally as a key advisor to many stakeholders and at the same time lead the USTC Group towards ongoing HR legal compliance.
Reporting directly to the Group CHRO, you will join a team of ambitious and supportive legal counsels, who as trusted advisors are dedicated to delivering high-end legal advice and presenting pragmatic and business-oriented solutions to the many companies and stakeholders under the USTC umbrella. Besides being a hands-on people leader, together with your team, you will be responsible for handling a broad variety of legal activities primarily related to individual, but also collective employment law, meeting with internal as well as external stakeholders, various contract negotiations as well as securing the right flow between the operational and strategic levels of our business.
Other key responsibilities:
* Creating an environment where your team brings the best version of themselves to work and ensuring they are engaged and continuously developed to bring their best-in-class legal counsel experiences to the table - for the benefit and satisfaction of our internal and external stakeholders.
* Supporting USTC with proper and fit HR cultural and legal due diligence in M&A activities across the USTC Group.
* Keeping yourself, your team and our companies properly updated with latest directives and laws influencing the business specifically within Employment law.
* Responsible for proper Legal reporting and analysis to our CHRO and relevant business stakeholders.
An adaptable profile with legal counsel expertise combined with leadership experience
Besides holding a Master of Law, you have 6+ years’ experience of which 3-5 years are with leadership, preferably from a similar position within a large matrix organisation. However, it could also be experience gained from a lawyer´s office or labor union office. Your agile, adaptable, and commercial mindset combined with the ability to keep calm when the pressure is on, are key factors to succeeding in the position. You are tenacious, confident and a positive team player, who thrives by being a hands-on leader for your team, taking the lead on legal matters on all levels of the organisation.
