Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Landscape Designer at Online Garden Designs. The Landscape Designer will be responsible for tasks such as:
* Creating innovative and functional garden and landscape designs
* Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and requirements
* Preparing design plans, sketches, and 3D renderings
* Conducting site visits, site surveys and client consultations
* Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure project success
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating exceptional outdoor spaces.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in SketchUp
* Strong skills in AutoCAD for technical drawings and site plans
* Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for design presentations and marketing materials
* Understanding of landscape design principles, plant selection, and site planning
* Basic knowledge of construction techniques and materials related to landscape design
* Strong organizational and administrative skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
* Excellent communication and client management abilities
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
* Relevant degree or certification in Landscape Design, or another design discipline
* Previous experience working on both residential and commercial landscape projects
* Passion for sustainable and innovative design solutions
* Experience with Lumion for 3D visualization and rendering
