We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team in Anngrove, Carrigtwohill. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and equipment.

About the Role:
">
">
* Ensure all maintenance activities and documentation meet GMP standards.
">
* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, and process issues on the production floor, collaborating with facilities functions.
">
* Develop technical knowledge of next-generation equipment, working with the team to identify and eliminate technical issues promptly.
">
* Liaise with support functions to enhance their understanding of the equipment and promote a culture of continuous learning.
">
* Identify hazards, defects, and areas requiring adjustment or repair by diagnosing malfunctioning systems.
">
* Investigate build failures and furnace failures causing scrap, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions across all equipment.
">
* Interface effectively with cross-functional team members and 3rd party vendors, prioritizing teamwork in support of day-to-day operations.
">
* Assist in implementing technical improvements to benefit the business.
">
* Troubleshoot and repair systems, identifying root causes of system failures and implementing permanent solutions.
">
* Coordinate preventative maintenance and calibration activities on assigned lines, processes, and/or areas.
">
* Provide process and maintenance improvements using data analysis and trending reports.
">
* Offer technical support to the manufacturing business unit during new product introductions and transitions from other sites as needed.
">
* Participate in cross-functional and cross-divisional process improvement initiatives.
">
* Support equipment procurement and assist in the execution of installations, validations, FATs, and SATs to ensure standardized equipment addition to the business.
">
* Maintain weekly and monthly equipment uptime metrics for the Business Unit and address significant downtime accordingly.
">
* Liaise with Production Team Leaders and Manufacturing Engineers regarding productivity, scrap, and efficiency performance issues.
">
* Ensure compliance with site and divisional maintenance procedures.
">
* Pursue additional duties as required.

Requirements:
">
">
* Certificate/Diploma in Engineering/Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical, or toolmaking is desirable but not essential.
">
* Significant Additive Manufacturing experience is preferred.
">
* Familiarity with electronics and software control systems.
">
* At least 2 years of experience in a modern manufacturing environment, ideally with prior experience in low/mid-voltage electrical power systems, pneumatics, PLCs, instrumentation, hydraulics, calibration, and AutoCAD.
">
* Experience in the medical device industry is advantageous.
">
* Business understanding of operations and its impacts is crucial.
">
* High-level PC skills are required.
">
* Flexibility is essential.
">
* Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
">
* A self-starter with efficient work methods, analytical, and problem-solving skills, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
">

Travel Percentage: 10%
