Job Title: Project MEP Quantity Surveyor
We are currently recruiting for a Project MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our team at either our Dublin, Cork or Galway offices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead MEP Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
* Provide support to other Surveyors on the team in the delivery of services on team projects.
* Provide effective support and mentoring to Graduate Surveyors.
* Experience in pre-contract cost management while being experienced in budget control, cost planning, preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with other project stakeholders.
* Ensure projects and tasks are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client's satisfaction.
* Develop strong reciprocal relationships with consultants and members of the project team.
* Be an interface with AECOM clients and design team members on specific projects.
* Manage the delivery of cost management team outputs on allocated projects, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
* Provide full Cost Management duties to AECOM clients on allocated projects.
* Participate in non-project related team activities and tasks; QA, office management, business development, H&S.
Requirements:
* Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
* Professionally Qualified – On the Statutory Register of Quantity Surveyors in Ireland and preferably Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS or SCSI.
* Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilize digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.
* 2-4 years experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of cost management services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Bill of Quantities preparation, Procurement; Contract Administration, Remeasures, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
