Retail Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a sales-focused Retail Marketing Manager to drive foot traffic and sales growth for our stores.
This role will focus on developing and executing local marketing strategies, including in-store displays, signage, community engagement, partnerships, and traditional media outreach.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail marketing principles and a proven track record of success in increasing store performance and experience managing a team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive sales through marketing initiatives
* Develop and implement local marketing plans tailored to individual store locations, considering demographics, competitive landscape, and seasonal trends
* Manage in-store marketing materials, including designing, producing, and distributing eye-catching point-of-sale displays, signage, and promotional materials
* Build local partnerships with complementary businesses, community organizations, and local media to drive brand awareness and generate leads
* Oversee traditional marketing initiatives, utilizing channels such as print advertising, radio, and direct mail
* Collaborate with store teams to ensure marketing efforts align with store operations and sales goals
* Analyse and report on marketing performance, tracking key metrics such as foot traffic, sales conversions, and ROI
* Conduct competitor analysis and identify opportunities to differentiate our brand and gain a competitive edge
Requirements:
* A track record of increasing sales through marketing initiatives in a multi-store retail environment
* Proven experience in retail marketing, with a focus on driving foot traffic and sales
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant marketing software
* Experience with budget management and creative problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to extract actionable insights from sales and marketing data
