Process Development Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Process Development Engineer to join our team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers, developing new products and improving processes on established mature product lines.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating automated process equipment into a production environment. They will create practical automated systems and software to control them, support the process development of new products in collaboration with relevant product divisions, and develop solutions to satisfy stakeholder briefs.
Main Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and integrate automated process equipment into a production environment.

* Justify, specify, and implement new process equipment.
Requirements
* Educated to at least degree level (2:1 or above) in Mechatronic Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role with a proven track record of delivering projects.
* Good knowledge of PLC/HMI programming, sensors, software, and control systems.
* Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques.
* Competent in the use of 3D CAD packages.
* Familiar with geometric tolerancing, tolerance stacks, limits, and fits.
* Hold a full clean driving licence.
Desirable Skills
* Working knowledge of Siemens NX.
* Understanding of CE requirements and machinery directives.
* Understanding of metrology, measurement techniques, and calibration.
