We're looking for a Generator Service Engineer based out of Grangecastle, Dublin The site is running critical power 24/7 This role will include shift work of 4 on 4 off, 12 Hour Day and Night Shifts What you'll do: Carry out mechanical equipment maintenance as per work instruction on equipment including servicing, systematic fault finding and repairs. Carry out daily, weekly and monthly checks on equipment. Responsible for procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems. To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics Assisting with the installation and demobilisation of equipment. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and local legislation, and ensure completion and validity of all minimum QHSE training and objectives required by the company You'll have the following skills and experience: Qualified / Part-Qualified Mechanic and or Electrician Experience of working with generators or in Power plant environment The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with standards and local legislation Ability to work autonomously when required with the ability to coach and mentor Good organizational & communication skills Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications Able to manage a client's expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation Bring your energy.
