Senior Technical Program Manager
This is a senior technical program manager position supporting the Mastercard Fraud Intelligence services. The team has an opportunity to build new and extend current fraud prevention services.
About the Role
* Manage and optimize the flow of value for the team by identifying and removing roadblocks.
* Facilitate Agile/SAFe ceremonies and coach team to ensure that the intended practice of the ceremonies are met.
* Use metrics to drive continuous improvement of team delivery and practices.
* Implement and coach teams on proven practices that create a steady flow of value delivery that align with product management and meet the needs of the customers.
* Understand the systems scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively act as a servant leader to the project team and ensure that business objectives are met.
* Identify and mitigate risks and issues.
* Ensure cadenced, timely, and accurate communication with project staff, senior management and key stakeholders.
* Prioritize and provide input into cross application/system enhancements, new products, processes, standards or plans in support of feature delivery.
About You
* Thought-leader with Expert Experience in Agile practices.
* Expert level understanding of SAFe, SAFe Agilist certification, SPC4 a plus.
* Understanding of strong development practices that drive quality such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, Code Quality measures / reduction of technical debt.
* Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and have the ability to function under pressure.
* Strong communication skills -- both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills.
* Experience working as a leader within the software development lifecycle and a software development team.
* Strong analytical/problem solving and planning skills.
* Knowledge of MasterCard and the payments industry preferred.
