CRH Group is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Architect to work within our global Group Information Security function. The role is a full-time position headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, with travel to CRH global locations required. The Security Architect will create, document, promote, and maintain the CRH Enterprise Cyber Security Architecture framework. This role will demand significant engagement with experienced stakeholders at various levels across the Group.
Focused on Enterprise Cyber Security architecture, the role will cover a range of IT and OT infrastructure technologies and the requirements of NIST CSF 2.0. Ideal applicants will be experienced individuals with a strong security and infrastructure design or management background as well as experience that aligns to the key responsibilities.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Create, document, and maintain the CRH Enterprise Cyber Security Architecture framework.
2. Manage the content development of Group cyber security policies and standards, aligned to internationally recognized frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, ISO27K, ISA/IEC, etc.
3. Ensure the design of proposed new enterprise cyber security and technology solutions (delivered internally or by external third parties) are aligned to the CRH Cyber Security Architecture Framework.
4. Conduct assessments of enterprise cyber security solutions to determine benchmark alignment to internationally recognized frameworks and the CRH Cyber Security Framework.
5. Drive the requirement for Cyber Security to be addressed throughout the project management lifecycle, from inception to post-implementation.
6. Develop processes for the formal assessment and architectural approval of proposed enterprise cyber security solutions.
7. Maintain an overview of emerging threats and cyber security solutions and provide an annual assessment to IT and IS leadership.
8. Lead or participate in internal Cyber architectural and design authority fora.
9. Work with IS Governance, Group Internal Audit, Group Risk & Compliance functions on all matters pertaining to enterprise cyber security architecture, policies, and standards.
10. Work with CRH divisional and Operating Company IT/IS departments to promote the CRH Enterprise Cyber Security Architecture framework and ensure local cyber policies and standards are aligned.
Education and Experience:
1. At least 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role.
2. At least 5 years’ senior experience of IT or IS Infrastructure Solution design, Operations, or Management.
3. Third Level qualification (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Information Security, or Engineering.
4. TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, ISO27k, ISA, CCNA, MSCE, and/or other relevant infrastructure architecture and security certifications.
5. Exposure to cyber security toolsets related to the following areas: O365, CASB, Endpoint Protection, Email Protection, Backup & Restoration, OT.
6. Familiarity with NIST and ISO27k standards and/or industry-specific cyber security regulations. Exposure to internal or external regulatory demands would be beneficial.
7. Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills, with an emphasis on influencing and negotiation.
8. Proficient in MS Office suite and diagramming packages.
9. Ability to deliver projects to a deadline.
