About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and availability of Salesforce data. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplication, and other issues while working with business data owners to gain their buy-in for data corrections. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our Salesforce data and ensuring it supports business operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Hygiene and Quality Initiatives:
Design, implement, and manage data hygiene projects to clean, enrich, and validate Salesforce data.
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates, and inaccuracies through systematic analysis and tools.
Develop automated workflows and processes to sustain high-quality data standards.
Collaboration with Business Data Owners:
Partner with business data owners to establish data governance policies and best practices.
Conduct regular data audits and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Train and support data owners in maintaining ongoing data quality.
Cross-Functional Data Integrity:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, to align on data requirements and ensure accuracy in data ingestion processes.
Collaborate with technical teams to define and enforce data integrity protocols for Salesforce integration with other systems.
Analyze data flows and ensure end-to-end consistency in data processing pipelines.
Project Management:
Lead and manage data-centric projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Develop detailed project plans, milestones, and deliverables to drive successful execution.
Coordinate with stakeholders, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress, addressing risks and issues proactively.
Ensure project documentation and reporting are comprehensive and up-to-date.
Reporting and Insights:
Develop and deliver comprehensive reports on data quality metrics, project progress, and business impact.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize Salesforce data utilization for strategic initiatives.
Create and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators related to data integrity .
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, including managing and analyzing data sets.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Salesforce object relationships, data schema, and security settings.
Proficiency in Salesforce tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, or equivalent.
Familiarity with data quality assurance processes and techniques, such as deduplication and validation.
Basic understanding of integration tools and APIs is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certification(s), such as:
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Experience supporting data migration projects or Salesforce system integrations.
Basic knowledge of SQL or other tools for data analysis and manipulation.
