Reports to: Head of Property Management Accounting Ireland
About The Role:
The successful candidate will be part of the Property Management Accounting (PMA) team and will be responsible for the account preparation and financial reporting together with financial monitoring for a portfolio of Client properties.
What You’ll Do:
1. Preparation of monthly Client accounts and reporting against budget
2. Board Pack
3. Loan Covenant & debt compliance
4. Property valuation adjustments
5. Third party & Intercompany loans
6. Asset management fee calculations
7. Straight line adjustments
8. Redemption Certificates & distributions
9. VAT preparation and filings
10. RCT compliance
11. Preparing supporting financial information, e.g. trial balance and supporting schedules including bank reconciliations
12. Preparing Client accounts for audit together with full workings
13. Liaising with auditors to ensure timely attendance to queries and finalisation of accounts
14. Attending to ad hoc reporting requests
15. Assisting with routine transactions on an occasional basis
16. Assisting with credit control at peak periods of activity
17. Developing month end procedures and processes
What You’ll Need:
1. A Professional Accountancy qualification or Finalist (ACA / ACCA or equivalent), ideally with 2 years industry experience
2. Strong financial reporting skills
3. Knowledge of Yardi Financial System a benefit
4. Initiative and commercial acumen
5. Internal control experience
6. Knowledge of IFRS & Local GAAP
7. A team player
8. Ability to work to tight deadlines
9. Ability to work on own initiative
10. Good analytical skills
