We are currently looking for Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers to join our modern site in Clonmel.
This is how you will make a difference:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering support of manufacturing operations, involving key engineering metric management and process optimization activities, including Manufacturing Yield improvement, product quality monitoring, lean manufacturing design, and troubleshooting using continuous improvement tools and methodology.
Main responsibilities:
1. Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes.
2. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings.
3. Analyze and solve problems using engineering principles and innovative approaches.
4. Understand and apply engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
5. Understand the business needs of the company and customer requirements.
6. Develop a network of internal resources to complete tasks.
7. Mentor employees and provide technical expertise.
8. Participate in validation activities.
Experience, Education and Skills Required - Manufacturing Engineer:
* National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline.
* 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* Basic technical knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities - Quality Engineer:
1. Identify manufacturing process defects and suggest corrective actions.
2. Assist in the development of product quality plans and specifications.
3. Become skilled at using process monitoring systems.
4. Participate in product/process improvement efforts.
5. Participate in validation activity.
Education & Job Skills - Quality Engineer:
* National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline. 2+ years of related work experience.
* Working technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedures.
* Ability to work on problems of moderate scope with judgment within defined procedures.
