We are looking for dynamic and experienced Practice Managers to join our team on a part-time basis.
These roles are ideal for self-motivated individuals with strong leadership skills who thrive in a busy, patient-centered environment.
Our Swords site will operate Monday - Wednesday: 10am - 6pm (1 hour unpaid lunch).
Our Cherrywood site will operate Wednesday - Friday: 10am - 6pm (1 hour unpaid lunch).
Role Overview:
The Practice Managers will oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic, ensuring that all administrative, operational, and clinical processes are efficiently managed.
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of patient care while managing a small team and coordinating with healthcare professionals.
As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the management of clinic staff, patient services, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Lead and supervise the clinic team Conduct staff training, performance appraisals, and foster professional development particularly as the business grows.
Ensure that staffing levels are sufficient to meet patient needs and manage any personnel issues including sick leave and annual leave.
Operational Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, including managing appointment schedules, patient flow, and clinic resources/ equipment.
Ensure that clinical and administrative systems are running efficiently, including patient records, billing, and appointments.
Handle patient complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Develop and implement practice policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Financial Management:
Oversee the clinics financial operations, including invoicing, billing, and budget tracking.
Work with the clinics accountants to manage budgets, expenses, and billing compliance.
Ensure that financial records are maintained and up-to-date in line with regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Regulation:
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, including those set by HIQA, GDPR, and other statutory requirements.
Conduct regular audits to ensure clinic operations are in line with industry best practices.
Ensure the clinics policies are up to date and communicate changes to staff.
Patient Care and Service:
Manage patient services, including appointment scheduling, handling queries, and ensuring a high standard of patient experience.
Work closely with the clinical team to maintain excellent patient care and improve patient satisfaction.
Develop and implement systems for patient feedback and service improvement.
Person Specification:
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field (desirable).
Experience in a practice management or administrative role in a healthcare setting is essential.
Strong understanding of medical administration, patient care processes, and healthcare systems.
Experience:
Previous experience managing a clinic, medical office, or healthcare facility is preferred.
Experience with financial management, budgeting, and compliance is an advantage.
Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a focus on patient care and service quality.
Knowledge of practice management software and patient management systems is a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements in Ireland.
