Our Mission
The LDA has commenced construction on several projects on State land and has a delivery pipeline in excess of 17,000 homes. We work in partnership with Ireland's largest and most experienced homebuilders and will deliver a further 8,000 homes under the Government's Project Tosaigh initiative.

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to contribute to our wide range of transformative residential and regeneration projects across the country. The ideal candidate will have all necessary technical and commercial acumen required in delivering landmark projects, but importantly will need to be a team player with the drive, work ethic and adaptability to respond to the exciting challenges of the LDA mandate.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead projects through the construction stage of delivery and assist development managers to deliver projects through planning and detailed design.
* Manage design teams from a technical, program and budgetary perspective.
* Plan, organise, and direct activities concerned with the project.
* Interaction with project stakeholders such as local authorities, development partners, third party utilities etc.
* Develop project plans and schedules and execute plans to completion.
* Ensure contractor and consultancy contractual compliance.
* Monitor that planning conditions are met and in Compliance with best practise.
* Manage large scale construction main contractor companies and design teams.
Requirements
* The successful candidate for the role will have at least 5 years construction management experience.
* Hold a recognised degree level qualification in construction/development sector.
* Excellent relationship management skills (both internal and external).
* Strong development management skills, with a proven relevant track record.
* Strong knowledge of the Irish planning, development and construction sector.
* Knowledge of public procurement a distinct advantage.
* Knowledge of project viability an advantage.
