Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Chartered Clinical/Educational Psychologists to join our client's teams in Kildare, Cork, Mayo, or Monaghan.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioural functioning in children and adolescents.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and educational psychologists, to ensure holistic care for clients.
* Provide consultation and support to parents, caregivers, and relevant stakeholders to promote effective strategies for support.
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other records in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
* Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance clinical practice.
* Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in clinical psychology and child development.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A doctorate in educational psychology, clinical psychology, or counselling psychology is required.
* Must be registered with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) as a psychologist.
* ADOS training and experience in autism diagnostic assessments are desirable.
* Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in clinical practice, preferably working with children and adolescents.
* Strong expertise in psychological assessments and evidence-based recommendations for developmental, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
* A commitment to professional development and continuing education in clinical/educational psychology and child development.
