Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Program Manager to drive impactful outcomes through the management of end-to-end program plans. This individual will take full ownership of program delivery, while influencing key stakeholders, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of complex, high-priority programs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of program management methodologies, be an expert in navigating ambiguity, and have a proven ability to build relationships across teams to drive program success.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Strategy:
• Develop and manage comprehensive program plans to drive successful outcomes.
• Own program delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
• Lead program scoping and resource allocation, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
• Identify innovative solutions to address problems and manage program priorities.
• Review and evaluate options based on cost/benefit analysis and organizational priorities.
Process & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Design and implement program management methodologies based on best practices, tools, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define, streamline, and execute processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Manage multiple interrelated timelines, goals, and resources concurrently, influencing decision-making across teams.
• Foster and lead strategic partnerships across functional areas, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, increasing efficiency and minimizing rework.
Program & Stakeholder Management:
• Communicate program vision and progress to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Guide teams and stakeholders to meet goals, ensuring clear alignment of objectives and priorities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for program-related risks and provide proactive mitigation strategies.
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics for program success, driving continuous improvements.
• Present program updates to leadership, securing buy-in from executive sponsors.
Risk & Issue Management:
• Identify and assess program risks, tracking and addressing potential issues that may impact the program’s success.
• Take proactive steps to mitigate risks, ensuring smooth program execution.
• Lead risk identification and assessment activities, providing timely updates to leadership.
Documentation & Reporting:
• Ensure comprehensive program documentation is maintained, including solution scope, design, and task-level deliverables.
• Generate and communicate reports, ensuring stakeholders are informed of program status and risks.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of program management experience, with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional programs to successful outcomes.
• Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Google’s product areas and how they intersect with business goals and objectives.
