The Representative Church Body (RCB) is responsible for managing the over 28,000 Church of Ireland trusts that are vested in the RCB. These include bequests, restricted trusts and trusts with specific objects held for parishes, dioceses, or held for allocation by the RCB. We are looking for a highly motivated Trusts Manager to join our Property and Trusts Department to manage the administration of the over €288.85m and £67.7m of trusts vested in the RCB. This is a middle management position reporting directly to the Head of Property & Trusts for the RCB. Main Duties and Responsibilities Liaising with solicitors and parish treasurers re vesting of trusts in the RCB Managing the administration of monthly investment/divestment of trust funds Liaising with the RCB Finance Department to arrange the investment/divestment of trust funds Preparing papers and advising management and committees on developments in trusts law Advising on the development and management of a trusts database Corresponding with beneficiaries and arranging the payment of grants Maintaining the trust files and responding to queries Working as part of the property and trusts team Support the development of a property and trusts strategy Candidate Requirements Education and training Essential Qualification in law or related discipline. Experience Essential Minimum 2 years relevant post-qualification experience. Desirable Experience of administering bequests, probate or trusts Knowledge/skills Essential Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Teams. Desirable Working with trusts and administering databases Other Essential Be highly motivated and flexible. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to work and live in Ireland.
