Senior Risk & Compliance Officer - Insurance
Our client is Ireland's fastest growing and most innovative online insurance broker with an exciting new opportunity for an expert Risk & Compliance Officer to join their growing team.

You will engage proactively with team members by sharing critical knowledge and insights so that the collective culture of winning is always supported and strengthened.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the Compliance Framework and Compliance Plan
* Conducting compliance monitoring reviews
* Provide advice on appropriateness and effectiveness of controls and the application of rules, regulations and the company's compliance policies and procedures
* Review of products, documents and marketing communications for compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
* Participate on new business initiatives, ensuring that relevant compliance considerations and resulting risks, are duly assessed.
Key Candidate Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years experience in a Compliance function, preferably in insurance
* Qualified accountant or suitable 3rd Level Qualification in a Business or Law discipline
* Compliance qualification desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Conversant in Irish financial regulation applicable to insurance intermediaries
* Excellent organisational, analytical and research skills
* Highly organised and able to work on own initiative
* Excellent presentation skills
