Based in the Midlands, Ireland, our company has been providing top-notch environmental and industrial cleaning services to various industries for over 20 years.
We are a leading player in the sector, employing over 70 staff across the organisation, and we are now recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer (H & S Officer).

Job Responsibilities
1. Establishing Safety Standards: Ensure that other employees can complete their work safely by establishing safety standards for the workplace, both internally and out on sites, based on legal requirements.
2. Method Statements and Risk Assessments: Ensure timely completion and delivery of accurate, factually correct method statements and risk assessments, and ensure that all employees adhere to the tasks as set out in same.
3. Assisting the Health and Safety Manager: Assist the Health and Safety manager in advising the leadership team, fostering a strong safety culture, and inspiring positive behavioral changes throughout the company.
4. Collecting Data and Reports: Collects data and reports on all safety and accident events, and co-ordinate with health and safety manager on the delivery of group level health and safety reports.
5. Developing Safety Initiatives: Develop, run and manage internal safety initiatives, and build on a current positive safety culture within the company.
6. Safety Audits: Attend operational sites on a regular basis to carry out safety audits on company teams, but also audits on sub-contractors engaged on company projects.
7. Annual Certification Audits: Work in conjunction with the technical director in the preparation for and participation in annual certification audits.
8. Toolbox Talks: Completion of toolbox talks on customer sites.

Requirements
* Qualifications: Qualified to minimum Level 7 in Health & Safety.
* Experience: 3+ years of relevant H & S experience.
* Driver's License: Full clean driver's license required.
