Join a multinational medical devices manufacturer as a Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in maximizing equipment effectiveness. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will provide essential mechanical maintenance support.
This is a shift role - Shift: Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm, Fri 7am-12pm.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) using the CMMS system (BMRAM).
2. Perform maintenance on production equipment, covering both planned and unplanned tasks.
3. Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
4. Review and improve PPM procedures, managing updates through the Senior Maintenance Engineer and/or CMMS administrator.
5. Contribute to achieving world-class equipment uptime (MTTR and MTBF) by analyzing downtime and OEE data.
6. Collaborate with the Senior Maintenance Engineer and Value Streams to identify and implement permanent solutions for recurring equipment issues.
7. Champion continuous improvement and innovation through lean thinking and Operational Equipment Excellence principles.
Qualifications:
1. Third-level qualification in Automation Systems or Mechatronics.
2. Working knowledge of FDA-regulated industries and GMP requirements.
3. Experience using a CMMS (preferably BMRAM) in a maintenance role.
4. 3-5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
5. Strong electrical/electronic repair and diagnostic skills.
6. Proficient mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair skills.
7. Experience in pneumatic fault finding and repair.
