Flexsource are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee our client's new store in Waterford.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide training and development to all team members within the stores, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
* Ensure that new and existing plans, procedures, and updates are communicated efficiently to all team members.
* Lead by example, demonstrating exemplary leadership behavior and setting high standards for the team.
* Dedicate to delivering exceptional customer-focused store experiences by leading the team towards a customer-centric approach.
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, driving customer loyalty and enhancing the reputation of the brand.
* Organize workflow, ensuring team members understand their roster, duties, and delegated tasks.
* Inspect the store regularly, maintaining a keen eye for detail to ensure optimal merchandising and standards.
* Maintain employee productivity, providing constructive feedback and coaching when necessary.
* Demonstrate flexibility, taking on additional tasks and contributing to the execution of new projects as needed.
* Maintain a professional, positive attitude at all times.
Experience & Qualifications:
* A minimum of 1 year of retail management experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven experience in managing large teams.
* Excellent people skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships across different functions and locations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, utilizing initiative and strong leadership skills.
* Experience in building and nurturing a team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen eye for merchandising.
Other:
* This is a full-time permanent role, requiring 40 hours of work per week.
* Flexible schedule, working 5 out of 7 days including early, late, and weekend shifts.
