HRM Search Partners have been exclusively retained by a leading global professional services organisation that is seeking a Head of Talent to enhance their Talent Acquisition and Management strategies. Based in Dublin, this role will support the firm's 850 staff and work closely with 80 Partners. The Head of Talent will report to the Chief People Officer, focusing on candidate attraction and succession planning. Strong tactical and operational support and commitment to developing talent aligned with business objectives are essential. Candidates with experience in both Talent Acquisition and HR programs are preferred.
The Position
1. Develop and Lead Talent Strategy: Establish and implement a comprehensive talent attraction and retention strategy that integrates recruitment, assessment, and selection methods.
2. Innovative Recruitment Strategy: Create, oversee and deliver a recruitment strategy that employs innovative sourcing techniques to build diverse candidate pools and enhance the candidate experience.
3. Data-Driven Improvement: Utilise data analytics to continuously refine recruitment processes and outcomes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
4. Workforce Planning: Drive effective workforce planning to address immediate and future business needs through actionable recruitment initiatives.
5. Market Analysis and Insight: Conduct market analysis to identify trends and best practices, maintaining awareness of evolving talent marketplace dynamics and candidate expectations.
6. People and Vendor Management: Manage and develop the Talent Acquisition Manager, while optimising vendor relationships to enhance recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.
The Person
1. The successful appointee will hold strong competency in business acumen, leadership and relationship building, strategic initiative management, communication skills, and project/change management.
2. Over 15 years of experience in HR, Talent, or Talent Acquisition roles, leading strategic talent projects and full-cycle recruitment at senior levels, including partner-level positions. (Minimum 5 years of this experience within Ireland)
3. Be a thought leader in talent strategy and execution.
4. Desire to personally deliver on recruitment needs whilst driving strategy and projects. A 'hands-on' approach is expected.
5. Recent experience in a professional services or corporate environment.
6. Over 5 years of senior stakeholder management experience, with a proven ability to influence decision-making.
7. A 3rd level degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline is required.
