HR Manager Maternity Cover at Clayton Hotel Burlington Road
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to cover maternity leave in our iconic conference hotel, located 30 minutes from Dublin International Airport and a 15-minute walk from St Stephen's Green.
About the Role
This role reports to the Hotel General Manager, with a dotted line to the Group HR Manager. As the HR Manager, you will provide support and guidance to the General Manager and Head of Departments, leading and developing our people, aligning our people strategy with the hotel's strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategically manage the HR function, including recruitment, training, employee engagement, learning and development, employee health and wellbeing, and employee relations.
* Drive training and development amongst staff to foster a culture of learning and development.
* Collaborate with the General Manager to implement the Hotel's People Strategy.
* Proactively manage IR and ER issues, coaching and mentoring management team on effective performance management and support.
* Maintain employee compliance standards, including proper HR records and documentation.
* Effectively manage payroll and costs.

Requirements
* 3-5 years of experience in a HR management role in a hotel is desired.
* Proactive by nature and a self-starter.
* 3rd level qualification in HRM, Business or similar, CIPD qualification preferred.
* Experience in driving employee engagement.
* Experience of payroll and cost management.
* Ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the business.
* Strong understanding of employment law and related legislation.
