We are now recruiting for a Guest Relations Agent (Switchboard) to join our growing Team. You will work as a part of the wider Rooms Division Team which also includes the Front Office, Guest Experience, Housekeeping, Boutique & Retail, Laundry as well as Spa.
As a Guest Relations Agent (Switchboard) you will:
* Answer incoming calls onto the Resort and directing them correctly, answering guest queries promptly and efficiently in a friendly & helpful manner.
* Make Dining, Spa, Activity and Golf Reservations for upcoming guests using our internal software systems.
* Coordinate guest's requests both for in-house and upcoming guests, ensuring that all tasks/requests are correctly assigned to the appropriate team member/department.
* Manage our "Lost & Found" programme in conjunction with our Guest Experience & Security Teams, correctly locating lost items using our systems and assisting in arranging the safe return.
* Curate the daily VIP list & Amenity Programme in conjunction with the Guest Experience Team, ensuring all return and upcoming guests are correctly acknowledged.
* Review the guest history (if available) from previous visits, highlighting any preferences and needs & ensuring the requests are completed before their time in residence.
* Manage the "Guest Relations" inbox, ensuring a prompt and professional response is provided to all guests.
* Assist the Guest Experience Team when required with emails, phone calls and any additional tasks assigned to them.
A Guest Relations Agent (Switchboard) must have a genuine warmth and the ability to build lasting relationships with our guests, ensuring they have a seamless experience. They are entrusted with planning and coordinating all of the guest's stay by collaborating with all departments across the entire resort whilst ensuring effective communication.
Experience in a 5-star/luxury property is desirable. Extreme attention to detail and key IT skills are essential for this role.
You will report to the Guest Experience Manager and Director of Guest Experience. Shift patterns vary and weekend shifts will be required.
